As a 21 year old

8 months into 2020

It’s been over 5 months since the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) got characterised as a pandemic. The announcements of this happened on the 11th of March 2020.

Before I start writing about what I’ve been up to during this time,

“I’d like to thank all the hard working front-line workers during this pandemic, working day and night despite all the ignorance, stupidity and lack of empathy some people possess as millions of people are suffering”

Thank you.

Here’s some of the things I’ve personally been through over the last 5 months since the pandemic started"

Perhaps some negatives: I’ve temporarily ‘lost’ my job as a swimming teacher and the clothing shop with my mum is going through some changes during these times also.

Now some positives: I picked up a new hobby: skating on a skateboard and a longboard and a new job at Woolworths (supermarket chain in Australia). I am partaking in a Korean Youth camp (via Zoom) and am undertaking second year, semester 2 of my undergraduate degree with a fresher outlook than last semester. I’ve been exercising everyday, with a schedule for my runs as well.

Not gonna lie though, I do miss being around people in my everyday life being an extrovert. But you know, I’m healthy, managed to get myself a job, and people around my loved ones are safe and healthy too.

I’ve got so much to be grateful for and I’ve decided to continue upskill myself as an individual during this time, working on myself.

Look, I’ll be coming back with some more content cause I’ve finally reached a point where I now meditate at will and have some spare time to write about it all. I’ll tell you about some of the stuffs that’s been happening in the past few months, weeks and even days.
